Print Making

The stencil I did I thought was terrible, I made many mistakes but I know for next time. Planning I learned is key to this project, it is the differnce between a master piece and a piece of junk. The steps I took in making this project were:

1) draw a rough sketch of what you would like to print
2) trasfer sketch to a blank sheet of paper using sketch paper
3) plan what you would like to cut out of the linolium
4) transfer picture to lenolium
5) cut lenolium

I wasnt the biggest fan of the project, it wasnt that fun and my outcome was bad.

Frog Tongue

More Photoshop! Wow this is fun. Today I made an awesome frog tongue, i think it looks kind of cheesy and 2D but it was really fun to make! I learned how to use shadow effects and blend pictures together

This was probably the most fun project in this class so far, I love spray paint. I have come to learn that
 Andrew loves my dog.

Contour Shoe

I saw my shoes becoming more and more progressed over time, but I was very impressed when I did my contour line shoe drawing. I know it doesn't have much detail but you get the point. These are better than my normal shoes I draw because they have more shape and are more realistic. My shoes, because they are Vans, could be a bit longer at the toe and shorter at the heel. They need more laces obviously but my Vans only have 4 laces.

Value Shapes

This was my value picture, we made these on Layers Pro for iPad. I honestly think that my sketches were better, but that's because I don't feel comfortable with the cone. I enjoy the colors I chose because i think the yellow and green make a good background. I tried to limit my purple use other wise that's all I would of used! My shadows I think I did very good on besides the fact that all the shadows are going in different directions.

Cartoon Skeleton Drawing

Cartman is a pretty easy character to sketch, he is just a couple of circles with stub arms and feet. You can see every primary bone in his little round body. His humorous, his fibula and tibia, all his hand bones and his ribs and vertebrae. I had to morph his bone structure to his "thick boneness" so I decided to make his arms short and his legs shorter, his ribs an abnormal width but still connect to the collar bone and vertebrae. His Hip bone is enlarged to match his hip size but still show his short rib cage and legs. I thought it was a bit clever to make his fingers spaced a bit to match his glove and his jaw a bit bigger than his mouth.
